The range of green is varied and immense. It is the color we associate with nature, trees, grassy fields, lush plants, and the first signs of spring, St. Patrick ’s Day and the playfulness of Kermit the Frog. Green is also associated with our sense of smell. The word “green” comes from the same root as “grow”. Green symbolizes freshness and the renewal of life.

In Feng Shui, green is the color of the Family Gua. Green represents balance and harmony, new beginnings, healthy chi and vibrant health. It is the color of the wood element which symbolizes spring growth. The physical areas affected by green in the Family Gua are the feet.
